"No please not again." Michael pled softly, Darwin's grin grew "Oh yes Michael i want to make you a offer, one that will protect your sweet little family." Michael was close to tears, he had just gotten his family back and now he was going to lose them again. Darwin chuckled "Michael please i need answered soon." "You promise?" Michael asked softly before adding "And please leave Danny and Jordan alone?" Darwin frowned "I'll promise your family will be safe but Daniel and Jordan are mine and they will return to their home one way or another, now answer Michael or i'll just take the kitten now." At the theat of losing his daughter Michael answered quickly "I'll do just please leave my family alone."

Michael closed his eyes as Darwin laughed "Good to have you working for me again Michael, i'll be back in a few hours to personally pick you up."

Samantha shook her head and looked at her father. "Did that entire conversation we just had mean nothing to you?!"

"So you're just gonna hurt us worse than anything he could ever do," Samantha said, somewhat coldly. "Fine, just don't expect me to be here when.......if you come back," she said, leaving the room.

Michael let the tears he had been holding back fall as she left the room.

Samantha went into the bathroom and locked to door. She meant what she said when she said she wouldn't be there when he came back. If she had it her way, she'd be dead before he could even leave. She wiped the angry tears from her eyes and grabbed her bottle of sleeping pills. The bottle was half full and she took them all, passing out on the floor a few minutes later.

Michael heard a noise for the bathroom and got up, knocked on the door and when he got no answer he frosed it open. He hurried over to Sammy'e side and spotted the pill bottle before picking her up and carrying her to the car. He rushed to the hospital and when he arroved he was told he would have to wait in the waiting room.

The doctors managed the pump all the pills from her stomach and placed her on a 24 hour suicide watch. She curled up on the bed after she woke up, her back to the door while a nurse went to get her father.

Samantha shook her head. "I need you, just like I needed you back then," she said. "He's only trying to trap you, he did the same thing to...." she stopped.

Samantha took a deep breath. She hadn't talked about him in years. "My fiancé, his name was Chris, he was a human like you," she said. "He went to work for Darwin to protect me and the kittens, and when he wouldn't tell Darwin where I was a few months later........he killed him, burned him alive and made me watch."
