[Jaylin Cage]

Jaylin came into the house with a roll of his eyes as usual. He'd stayed after school taking extra art and foreign language courses, not only because he was fascinated by them, or because the principal had agreed to let him do it to boost his average since these kinds of courses were the only ones her ever passed, but because it kept him out of the house longer and away from his father. Report cards had come out that day so he knew he was in for hell later, but he didn't care. He went up to his room and laid his bags on the floor before lighting himself a cigarette and laying down on his bed, waiting for the inevitable.

Zander sighed and shook his head as he read the report card, Jaylin had other bad report card again. He didn't know what to do, Jaylin was just impossible.

Jaylin laid back and took a long drawl off his cigarette, blowing the smoke up toward the ceiling with a dark chuckle. There was a sick, twisted side of him that enjoyed making his father suffer.

Zander shook his head, he had to deal with running a clan and raising a.. Zander sighed again, he loved Jaylin but he was just diffacult.

Amina walked in and shook her head when she saw her father. "Jaylin again?"

Zander sighed and nodded "How'd you guess?"

[Jaylin Cage]

"It's always him," Amina said. "Gotten worse since mom died."

[Zander Cage]

Zander sighed, there was the reason his son hated him right there. Because he blamed him for his mothers death.

Amina bit her lip. She'd never admit it, but there was a part of her that was angry with her father because of her mother's death all most as badly as Jaydin was, but she'd never tell either of them that. "You tried to save her," Amina said softly.

[Zander Cage]

Zander didn't answer, he knew they both blamed him. He turned away and harded his face, he had loved his mate more then life itself but he couldn't save her when it mattered. "Go find your aunt Alyssa, i'm going to talk to him." he said firmly, shutting his emotions down.

[Jaylin Cage]

Amina nodded. "Yes sir." she replied, turning to leave.

[Zander Cage]

Zander frowned as he made his way to his son's room and knocked.

"Come in you're going to anyways," Jaylin said, rolling his eyes.

[Zander Cage]

"I don't even need to tell you why i'm here i do?" Zander asked, slipping into his role as the alpha male of the clan.

Jaylin smirked, taking another drawl off his cigarette, making sure to blow the smoke toward the older male. "Nope."

[Zander Cage]

Zander frowned slightly but keeped his face passive. "I thought i told you if you want to smoke you do it outside." he said with a fake smile, he wasn't going to let Jaylin get the under hand.

"Yea, you did," Jaylin said. "Doesn't mean I listened."

[Zander Cage]

"Apparently." Zander said as he raised his eyebrow "And apparently you also didn't listen when i said get your grades up or your grounded."

[Jaylin Cage]

Jaylin chuckled darkly, his fangs visible. "You know I don't give a fuck about that boring shit."

[Zander Cage]

Zander smirked "Oh you thinking of challaging me again, you remember how that turned out last time right?"

[Jaylin Cage]

Jaylin hissed and glared at him. "What you gonna have me killed too, you fucking murderer?!" Jaylin snapped.

[Zander Cage]

Zander's face stayed passive the only hint he was upset was his eyes turned deep blood red. "I don't know who killed Lelani, so how could of i ordered her death if i don't know who did it." he said in a low voice "Besides she was MY Mate why would i have my destined one killed?"

[Jaylin Cage]

"Simple, you were sleeping with that little elf whore of yours," Jaylin said. He despised Danielle more than anyone, except his father of course. She was trying to replace his mother and he hated it.

[Zander Cage]

"I didn't get with Danielle till after that and you know it Jaylin." Zander said calmly before adding "Besides i don't think you should call anyone a whore, considering you've been with a least half the clan."

[Jaylin Cage]

Jaylin hissed. He wouldn't lie he'd slept around for a while right after his mom died, but Danielle was different, she was an elf, she was below them. He took one last drawl of his cigarette and put it out in his mostly empty soda can ash tray in order to calm himself. "Yeah, I've slept around so what?" Jaylin said. "I ain't with nobody."
