Someone Else's Story

Dante sighed as he headed back to his rooms, it had been a month since he had been married to Christina and it seemed like they were still just strangers to each other. And to make things even more uncomfortable people were asking if Christina was pregnant yet, Dante sighed softly before walking into their room.

Christina was sitting at her desk, writing a letter. She'd been secretly dating a shifter named Hunter when her parents shipped her off to marry Dante. She hated it here.

"Alright i guess busy but alright." Dante answered softly, he was only twenty but with his father's decision to remarry a human after his mother's death he had to take control of the kingdom.

Christina bit her lip. By law, she was supposed to give Dante her virginity on their wedding night, and to prove she'd remained a virgin until marriage, Dante was supposed to hang the bedsheet with Christina's blood on it outside their window for the entire kingdom to see. She'd refused. She wasn't a virgin anymore. She'd lost it at 16, to Hunter, but if anyone found out, she would be put to death.
