Cami closed her eyes as well, pulling the memories from the back of Julian's mind. She watched heartbroken as the scene played out in her head. He'd only been six, if that at the time. She watched as he got sicker and sicker, but his father paid him no attention, until eventually he drove him to the ER and left him there. Julian would never see his father again.
